Meet the Host
My name is R. Keith Harris and I knew that I wanted to act and make movies by the ripe old age of nine. That desire only grew as I did, and I eventually followed my dream into college. I received my B.S. in Radio/TV Production and Theatre from Western Carolina University. I then went on to receive my MFA-Acting with a concentration in film from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. I was the first person in the graduate program allowed to do a thesis performance in a film and not on stage. I’ve now been in the business for over 25 years. I’m a working actor, a produced screenwriter, as well as a prolific producer and director. I’ve taught acting, producing and screenwriting in universities and colleges, as well as maintaining my own, private acting and screenwriting classes. My experience gives me great empathy for the struggles associated with starting out and building a career in the film industry. For these reasons, I hope you will trust me with the opportunity to serve you.
